Baldur’s Gate 3 PS5: Unique Features and File Size Revealed for Console Port

The highly anticipated RPG, Baldur’s Gate 3, is making its way to consoles with the release of a PlayStation 5 port. Console players only have to wait a month or so after the PC release to experience this acclaimed game. The PS5 version of the game comes with exclusive features, including trophies and a unique download size, which have been revealed.

What is the Baldur’s Gate 3 PS5 file size?

The PlayStation Game Size Twitter account has shared the file size for Baldur’s Gate 3 on PS5: 108.831 GB. This is comparable to the PC version, which has a download size of 97.4 GB and an install size of 121.47 GB. However, Steam advises players to have 150 GB of free space on their computers for the game.

Preloading for the PS5 Digital Deluxe Edition has already begun, giving players early access to the game on September 2 at 9 a.m. PT. For standard edition owners, preloads will begin on September 4 at 9 a.m., just two days before the game becomes playable.

The PS5 version of Baldur’s Gate 3 features trophies that draw inspiration from the PC version. The trophy list, available on Exophase, showcases a Platinum trophy along with a mix of Gold, Silver, and Bronze trophies. In total, there are 47 Bronze trophies, four Silver trophies, two Gold trophies, and a Platinum trophy. While most trophies closely resemble the achievements on Steam, some have slightly different descriptions, and one trophy even has a typo that misspells “matriarch” as “matriach.”

The Baldur’s Gate 3 PS5 trophies include:
