Two Games Confirmed for October 2023 on Xbox Game Pass

Xbox Game Pass subscribers are in for a treat this October, as two highly anticipated games, Jusant and Warhammer 40,000: Darktide, will be joining the service on their release day. Jusant, developed by Don’t Nod Entertainment, is a climbing-based adventure game that will be available on Game Pass starting October 31. With its stamina bar mechanic reminiscent of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, players will have to manage their stamina as they navigate their way up a beautiful ruin-covered mountain.

Warhammer 40,000: Darktide, on the other hand, is a class-based first-person shooter that has already made its debut on PC last year. However, its Xbox release had been delayed until October 4. Developed by Fatshark, Darktide allows up to four players to team up and battle hordes of enemies. This game had become one of the most anticipated third-party titles set to launch on Game Pass, and fans are eagerly awaiting its arrival.

For Don’t Nod fans, the release of Jusant on Game Pass is particularly exciting. The studio, known for their acclaimed Life is Strange franchise, showcased the stylish climbing sim game at Xbox’s game showcase during Summer Game Fest in June. With the release of Jusant just seven days before Don’t Nod’s upcoming game, Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden, players will have plenty to look forward to in the coming months.

As for Warhammer 40,000: Darktide, the Xbox release had been delayed due to performance issues. However, developer Fatshark has promised an RPG-like overhaul to the class system, with each class receiving a new robust skill tree. While it’s yet to be confirmed, it’s likely that this update will coincide with Darktide’s Xbox release and also be implemented on the PC version.

With October being packed with major AAA releases like Assassin’s Creed Mirage, Alan Wake 2, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, and Super Mario Bros. Wonder, the availability of Jusant and Darktide on Game Pass will hopefully help them secure sufficient player counts. Additionally, with games like The Lamplighters League and Xbox’s own Forza Motorsport joining the lineup, Game Pass users will have their hands full throughout the month.

In conclusion, October is shaping up to be an exciting month for Xbox Game Pass subscribers. The addition of Jusant and Warhammer 40,000: Darktide on their release day offers players the chance to dive into two highly anticipated games without any additional cost. With their unique gameplay mechanics and immersive experiences, both games are sure to captivate gamers and keep them entertained for hours on end. So mark your calendars and get ready to embark on these thrilling adventures with Game Pass!
