September has just passed the halfway mark, and we’re still awaiting the second wave of monthly games for Game Pass. However, an exciting October is already on the horizon. A total of seven games have been confirmed for next month, a list that is sure to grow in the coming weeks. Here’s what we can expect:
The Lamplighter’s League – October 3 (Console and PC)
Warhammer 40,000 Darktide – October 4 (Xbox Series X|S)
Force Motorsport – October 10 (Console, PC, and Cloud)
Cities Skylines 2 – October 24 (Console, PC, and Cloud)
Mineko’s Night Market – October 26 (Console and PC)
Headbangers Rhythm Royale – October 31 (Console)
Jusant – October 31 (Console, PC, and Cloud)
The most anticipated game among Xbox users is probably Force Motorsport, marking the return of the sim-arcade racing series after a notably long six-year hiatus. Turn 10 Studios has taken this time to rebuild the experience from the ground up and transition it into the new generation. There’s also high anticipation for the Xbox Series X|S version of Warhammer 40,000 Darktide, which has expanded the already well-established Vermintide formula by introducing firearms, and Cities Skylines 2, the sequel to one of the most beloved city management games in recent video game history.
Additionally, we have: The Lamplighters League, a turn-based strategy game set in an alternate version of the 1930s; Mineko’s Night Market, a social simulation game celebrating Japanese culture; Headbangers: Rhythm Royale, a battle royale game with a unique focus on rhythm; Jusant, a new action game featuring puzzles and climbing, developed by Don’t Nod.
Quite a diverse line-up. Before that, however, the second wave of September games for Game Pass is also coming. The announcement is scheduled for Tuesday, September 19, but we can already tell you the names of four of the expected games: Lies of P (September 19), Party Animals 3 (September 20), PayDay 3 (September 21), and Cocoon (September 29). What a backlog to tackle!
