Nintendo Switch to Get ’80s-Inspired Puzzle Platformer “It’s a Wrap!” on August 31st
Developer Chanko Studios and publisher AMC Games have announced that the highly anticipated puzzle platformer “It’s a Wrap!” will be making its way to the Nintendo Switch on August 31st. The game was officially unveiled during the Future Games Show presentation at Gamescom 2023, where it also shadow-dropped on Steam.
“It’s a Wrap!” combines our love for the ’80s with a unique gameplay mechanic that allows players to take on the role of both director and actor. The game features a “timeline editing” system where players can lay out platforming scenes and then guide the protagonist, Johnny Rush, through them.
The protagonist, Johnny Rush, will take on various roles throughout the game, including daring archaeologists, cool space wizards, and sci-fi detectives. The ’80s Hollywood references are abundant in “It’s a Wrap!” and will surely resonate with fans of the era.
The game is divided into two phases: the Director’s Phase and the Action Phase.
