Streaming Services Now Offering Baten Kaitos Soundtracks Ahead of Remaster’s Release

Bandai Namco Releases Baten Kaitos I & II HD Remaster Soundtracks Ahead of Launch

Bandai Namco has uploaded the music to both halves of the Baten Kaitos I & II HD Remaster, ahead of its highly anticipated launch this Thursday and Friday. Fans of the original GameCube games, which were released in 2003 and 2006 respectively, can now stream the music from Baten Kaitos: Eternal Wings and the Lost Ocean and Baten Kaitos Origins on various streaming platforms, including Apple Music, Spotify, YouTube Music, and Amazon Music. The soundtracks are also available for purchase on Apple Music and Amazon Music in select regions.

The music can be accessed on Bandai Namco’s game music page, where a full list of streaming services is provided. In addition, the video game developer has created its own YouTube channel dedicated to video game music and has also launched a Twitter account.

The soundtracks for both games were composed by industry veteran Motoi Sakuraba, who is best known for his work on the Tales of series, the Star Ocean series, and Valkyrie Profile. Sakuraba’s compositions have become iconic in the gaming world, and fans can now enjoy his music from the Baten Kaitos series.

Enhanced Remaster with Added Features

The Baten Kaitos I & II HD Remaster brings the two cult classic RPGs to the Nintendo Switch with enhanced visuals, a cleaner user interface, auto-battle functionality, and the ability to turn off random encounters. These quality-of-life upgrades aim to provide a more enjoyable gaming experience while staying true to the original games’ charm.

Baten Kaitos: Eternal Wings and the Lost Ocean and Baten Kaitos Origins are unique RPGs that utilize a card-based battle system. Developed by Monolith Soft, which is now a subsidiary of Nintendo, these games hold a special place in Nintendo’s history. Monolith Soft is known for its work on the Xenoblade series and has also contributed to major Nintendo titles like Splatoon 3 and Tears of the Kingdom.
