Activision Unveils Free MW3-Themed Map For Call Of Duty: Warzone
To coincide with the launch of Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, Activision has unveiled a brand-new large-scale map coming to its popular battle royale – Call of Duty: Warzone. This huge new battlefield, named ‘Urzikstan’, is the first new full-scale map since Modern Warfare 2 launched with ‘Al Mazrah’ back in late 2022.
Judging by the overhead map and some of the gameplay snippets now out there across various social channels, Urzikstan looks like a bit of a throwback to the ever-popular ‘Verdansk’ from Warzone 1. Here’s a bird’s-eye view of your latest Call of Duty battle royale playing field:
The new map launches shortly after MW3’s arrival later this year. Modern Warfare 3 lands on November 10th, with Call of Duty: Warzone’s Urzikstan then arriving during Season 01 this December. We’ll drop a sneak peek at the new map down below.
