Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III Multiplayer Beta Coming Soon
The highly anticipated Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III is set to release on November 10, and fans can get a taste of the game with the upcoming multiplayer Beta. The Beta will be available for Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One players, giving them early access to a variety of maps, modes, and gameplay features.
When is the Beta?
The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III Beta will be available to players who pre-order the game starting from 10am PT on October 12. Players who have pre-ordered through participating retailers will receive a Beta code on their receipt, while those who pre-ordered digitally will receive the code via email. For players who haven’t pre-ordered, the Beta will open to everyone from 10am PT on October 14.
What maps are included?
The Beta will feature a total of seven maps, including five Core maps and two Ground War maps. The Core maps are Favela, Estate, Skidrow, Rust, and Highrise. These maps offer a variety of environments and gameplay styles, from urban settings with flanking opportunities to desert landscapes and office rooftops. The Ground War maps, Popov Power Plant and Orlov Military Base, provide massive industrial and military areas for intense vehicle-based combat and sniping.
What game modes are available?

These include Team Deathmatch, Domination, Hardpoint, Kill Confirmed, Cutthroat (a new 3v3v3 mode), Search & Destroy, and Ground War. Unlock rewards in the Beta
Players will also have the opportunity to unlock rewards in the Beta that will carry over to the launch version of Modern Warfare III. The 30-level progression system in the Beta offers various rewards such as animated emblems, weapon charms, calling cards, stickers, vinyls, weapon blueprints, and operator skins. By reaching certain levels, players can unlock these rewards and show them off when the game officially launches.
Changes and additions to multiplayer
The developers of Modern Warfare III have introduced several changes and additions to the multiplayer mode. Movement mechanics have been revamped, allowing players to cancel slide and reload animations, mantle objects faster, and fire while sliding. The new Tac-Stance offers a balance between hip firing and aiming down sights, giving players more options in combat.
In addition, there will be new weapons and a weapon progression system called Aftermarket Parts. Players can modify their weapons to suit their playstyle, with options to convert handguns into SMGs, add bullpup designs to LMGs, and more.
