A Minor Patch for Final Fantasy 16 Coming Soon

A new patch for Final Fantasy 16 will be dropping this week, but try not to get too excited when the notification pops up on your PS5. Indeed, this seems to be a very minor update, with the game’s official Japanese website mentioning adjustments to how Arcade Mode evaluates your combat performance — and that’s pretty much it. A new leaderboard will be put in place as well.

While the site does promise additional details once the patch is available — it’s dropping on Sunday, apparently — we wouldn’t expect it to be hiding any other noteworthy improvements.
