# New Xbox Update Preview Released for Alpha Ring!
Hey Xbox Insiders! Get ready for a brand new Xbox Update Preview that has just been released for the Alpha ring. This update brings a range of background improvements that ensure a high-quality and stable build for all Xbox consoles. While the noticeable changes to the user interface may be minimal, it’s important to keep you informed about the updates coming to your device. Let’s dive into the details!
## System Update Details:
– **OS version released:** XB_FLT_2310ZN\25398.2504.231009-2200
– **Available:** 2 p.m. PT – October 11, 2023
– **Mandatory:** 3 a.m. PT – October 12, 2023
## Fixes Implemented
Thanks to the hard work of Xbox engineers, we are thrilled to announce the following fixes that have been implemented in this build:
### Games
– Fixes to address an unexpected cursor that could remain visible during gameplay in some titles.
### System
– Various updates have been made to properly reflect local languages across the console. Please note that users participating in the Preview may see “odd” text across the console. ## Known Issues
We understand that some issues have been listed in previous Xbox Insider Release Notes. Rest assured, these items are not being ignored. However, it may take Xbox engineers some more time to find a solution. Here are a few known issues:
### Audio
– Users have reported intermittent issues with audio across the dashboard, games, and apps. To resolve this, make sure you have the latest firmware updates for your TV and other equipment. If issues persist, contact the manufacturer for assistance. If problems persist after firmware updates, please submit feedback via “Report a Problem” with the “Reproduce with advanced diagnostics” option. Don’t forget to include all relevant information.
### Games
– Some titles may experience unexpected steering wheel vibrations. A fix is on its way and will be included in a subsequent update.
### Keyboard Button Mapping for Xbox Controllers
– If you change your keyboard language settings while the Xbox Accessories app is open, the change will be reflected after quitting the app or rebooting your console.
### Networking
– We are currently investigating reports of the console not connecting to the network as expected on boot. If you experience this issue, please report it via “Report a Problem” as soon as possible.
Make sure to utilize the “Report a problem” feature to keep us informed about any issues you encounter. Your feedback is invaluable in finding resolutions. While we may not be able to respond to everyone individually, the data we gather from your reports is crucial.
