To start Cástula’s quest, you’ll need to speak to Trifón and learn that he desires his sister’s head scarf. The headscarf can be found in the Sacred Entombments, one of the starting dungeons.
To acquire the headscarf, you’ll need to complete a platforming challenge. First, unlock the challenge by walking through the ghostly door to the right after hitting the bell in the chasm with Veredicto. In the area to the right of the Prie Dieu, use Veredicto and Sarmiento & Centella to platform up to the top of the screen.
The following steps will guide you through the platforming challenge:
1. Strike the bell with Veredicto and move to the right. Jump up the platforms as they appear.
2. When you reach the second bell, strike it to refresh the platforms and reach higher ground.
3. As you climb higher, switch to Sarmiento & Centella.
4. Use the swords to strike the floating mirrors and reach a safe ledge on the right. Here, you’ll find a Forgotten Tribute.
5. Use the higher mirrors to reach another safe ledge on the left side of the screen. This is where Cástula’s Cloth of the Old Woman is located.
## How to Get Trifón’s Manuscript
Trifón’s quest involves obtaining his manuscript, found in the Crown of Towers, another one of the starting dungeons.
To find the manuscript, head a few screens to the right from the Prie Dieu at the area’s entrance. You’ll come across platforms that form a staircase leading to an upper platform. Climb up the platforms until you reach a statue. Interact with the figure to make all the platforms rise and form a line. Quickly navigate this line to get a vertical shaft with climbable walls on either side.
Climb the walls while avoiding the fire moving through the shaft until you reach a ledge. Here, you’ll find Trifón’s Scroll of the Elder.
## How to Get Cástula and Trifón’s Remembrances
Once you have either of the critical items requested by the siblings, please return to the Palace of the Embroideries to return them. To return an item, it’s essential to enter the room from the correct side.
Entering from the left side allows you to give Trifón the Cloth of the Old Woman and receive Cástula’s Remembrance in return. Entering from the right side allows you to give Cástula the Scroll of the Elder and receive Trifón’s Remembrance in return.
## Reuniting Cástula and Trifón
While completing one sibling’s quest effectively renders the other sibling dead, there is still a way to reunite them and unlock the achievement of “Two Old Ones Eating Soup.”
You’ll need to obtain both Altarpieces by completing the quests for Cástula and Trifón to achieve this. Once you have both Altarpieces, please place them in the same section of your Altar, with the siblings facing each other. This will unlock the achievement but won’t have any additional in-game benefits.
Should you wish to reunite the siblings without completing their quests, you can purchase the remaining Remembrance from the shopkeeper in the Forlorn Patio for 6,000 Tears of Atonement.
