Pistol Whip, the rhythm-based VR shooter developed by Cloudhead Games, has unveiled the fifth and final scene of its Overdrive Season—’Work.’ Available today on all supported platforms, ‘Work’ takes players on an action-packed adventure as robo-gladiators facing off against waves of android enemies.

In a press release, Cloudhead Games described the scene as an exciting journey that culminates with a face-to-face encounter with the Emperor Cyberius himself.

This new scene marks the conclusion of the Overdrive Season, which has been delivering monthly content updates for Pistol Whip since May. Previous scene releases included ‘Shred,’ ‘Nobody Wants You,’ ‘Good News,’ and ‘Majesty.’

However, fans of Pistol Whip need not worry as the game’s latest roadmap promises further updates. Fall will see the release of ‘Elixir Of Madness,’ featuring three electrifying electro-swing tracks and promising a “phantasmagoria of ghastly delights.” Additionally, an unnamed second collection has been announced, with Cloudhead teasing that it will introduce the game’s most adventurous genre yet.
