This Fall, Ghostbusters VR is Making Its Way to Quest 2 & PSVR 2

Ghostbusters: Rise of the Ghost Lord VR Game Set to Launch on October 26th

During PlayStation’s State of Play event, developer nDreams made an exciting announcement for all the Ghostbusters fans out there. The highly anticipated virtual reality (VR) game, Ghostbusters: Rise of the Ghost Lord, is finally set to launch on October 26th.

This news comes as a relief for gamers who have been eagerly awaiting the opportunity to step into the shoes of a ghostbuster and immerse themselves in the beloved franchise. With the release date just around the corner, players can expect an exciting and engaging gaming experience.

The game, priced at $55, offers players the chance to pre-order the ‘FULL CONTAINMENT EDITION.’ Those who pre-order on Quest or PSVR 2 will receive not only the full game but also six months of upcoming DLC and bonus content.

In a new trailer released by nDreams, we get a glimpse of the gameplay and the four-player co-op feature. The trailer showcases some of the franchise’s iconic elements, including proton packs, ghost traps, P.K.E. meters, and the legendary Ecto-1.

Ghostbusters: Rise of the Ghost Lord is set to launch on Quest 2 and PSVR 2 this fall. While the game’s first trailer was captured on PC, there is a possibility of a release on SteamVR as well, although nDreams has not confirmed this.

In the meantime, eager fans can wishlist the game on PSVR 2 and Quest 2 platforms for a chance to be among the first to experience the ghostbusting action.
