Mortal Kombat 1 Leaks: Full Roster and Early Impressions
NetherRealm’s highly anticipated game, Mortal Kombat 1, is set to release in just a few weeks. However, it has unfortunately become the latest victim of a leak.
According to a report from MP1st, certain stores in various locations around the world have already started selling physical copies of the game. As a result, one individual managed to obtain a Switch copy of Mortal Kombat 1, confirming the full roster of fighters in the base game.
Warner Bros., the publisher of Mortal Kombat 1, has taken action against these leaks by getting posts removed from social media platforms and websites like Reddit. Despite their efforts, there is still a fair amount of information circulating online, including details about the game’s story and photos of the fighter selection screen.
Early impressions of the game’s performance on the Nintendo Switch have also been shared, with direct video footage being uploaded. If you’re trying to avoid any spoilers and would rather experience the game firsthand, it’s advised to be cautious while browsing online.
Aside from the leaks, NetherRealm has been busy this week with official fighter reveals. The studio announced that Megan Fox will be a playable character, Nitara, and Jean-Claude Van Damme will be featured as a Johnny Cage skin. In addition, Mortal Kombat creator Ed Boon made a special appearance on Hot Ones to reveal more details about the game. NetherRealm will also be hosting its final “Kombat Kast” on September 13th before the game’s release.
