Sir Michael Gambon, Voice of The Prophet in Elder Scrolls Online, Passes Away
Some sad news has surfaced over the past few hours about the passing of the legendary actor Sir Michael Gambon, at the age of 82 after “a bout of pneumonia“.
Gambon was perhaps best known in the modern generation of cinema as Albus Dumbledore in the Harry Potter series. On the video game front he voiced Varen Aquilarious, The Prophet from The Elder Scrolls Online series.
“We are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Sir Michael Gambon, the voice of Varen Aquilarios, The Prophet. Our sympathies and condolences are with his family, loved ones, and the many lives of those he touched.”

The same social account also shared a past video of ESO’s voice cast reveal – where Gambon mentions how he thinks he had “the best role” and discusses how much video games have evolved.
