Xbox Mastercard Now Available for Xbox Insiders in the US

Microsoft has announced the launch of the Xbox Mastercard, a credit card offering exclusive benefits for Xbox Insiders in the continental United States, Alaska, and Hawaii. This no annual fee credit card, in partnership with Barclays, allows cardmembers to earn card points with everyday purchases and redeem them on games and add-ons at xbox.com.

How to Apply and Become an Xbox Insider

To apply for the Xbox Mastercard, interested players must first become an Xbox Insider. Follow these steps to join:

Download the Xbox Insider Hub app on your Xbox or Windows PC.
Open the Xbox Insider Hub and navigate to “Previews”.

Select “Xbox Mastercard Preview”.
Click “Join”.

Once you’ve joined the Xbox Insider Program, you’ll have access to exclusive offers, early access to games and features, and now the opportunity to apply for the Xbox Mastercard.

Earning Card Points with the Xbox Mastercard

One of the major benefits of the Xbox Mastercard is the ability to earn card points for every dollar spent on eligible purchases. Here’s a breakdown of how cardmembers can accumulate points:

Xbox & Microsoft	Earn 5X card points on eligible products at the Microsoft Store.
Streaming Services	Earn 3X card points on eligible streaming services like Netflix® and Disney+®.
Dining Delivery Services	Earn 3X card points on eligible dining delivery services such as Grubhub® and DoorDash®.
Everyday Purchases	Earn 1X card points on all other everyday purchases.

In addition to these earning opportunities, the Xbox Mastercard offers a sign-up bonus of 5,000 card points (equivalent to $50) after the first purchase. Cardmembers can also enjoy other benefits and perks detailed in the Terms and Conditions.

Availability and Rolling Release

The Xbox Mastercard will be made available to Xbox Insiders in waves throughout the fall season.
